‘God Mode’ in Windows 7 is a trick where you can access all settings found in the control panel in one folder, the GodMode folder.
Here’s how to activate GodMode on Windows 7:
1. Create a new folder.
2. Rename the the folder to: God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
That’s it, the folder’s icon should change and contains lot of control options.
Warning:
Creating this Godmode shortcut in other windows operating systems particularly with 64-bit Windows Vista versions, Windows 2008 versions may cause windows explorer.
If your windows crashes or unable to remove this folder, try the following steps:
Boot to safe mode
Open command prompt
Run->cmd
Execute the command : rd /s God[Tab][Enter].
Restart your computer in normal mode.
