Is there any alternative way or service available to send updates to the mobile numbers for free of cost?
does twitter only support Airtel in India?
Hello,
Some friends of mine (using idea or vodafone) did not get any response when they SMSed 'follow channelname' to 53000....
In Indis, does only Airtel work with twitter?

Twitter currently supports Bharati Airtel, Reliance and Tata Docomo

Create a twitter account. For example : livetolearnweb
Set your website feed to post tweets automatically in twitter using feed-burner.
Then ask your visitors to follow the twitter account via sms to get updates.
E.g. To get livetolearn.in updates via SMS send sms 'FOLLOW LIVETOLEARNWEB' to 53000.
